ELCA WORLD HUNGER Thank you for your food items and monetary gifts that aid the under privileged families in our community and our world. We truly appreciate your generosity. The numbers served at our local food pantry, located at 12th Avenue & 41st Street in Moline (attached to Christian Friendliness) was 6879 persons this includes 2215 families. Our pantry is 3rd on the Illinois side of the river. Only Sacred Heart and 2nd Baptist of Rock Island have higher numbers. On the Iowa side, we are serving more persons than any of the pantries. There continues to be an increased demand for food items and monetary gifts for ELCA World Hunger. It is our Christian responsibility to serve those who are hungry. Thank you for your past giving habits. Let's pick up the slack of December and January and bring your non-perishable gifts to our church. Envelopes for World Hunger are in today's Visitor. Contributions may also be made in the church office during business hours or bring your food any Sunday or drop off on a week day.

Prayer Shawl Ministry This wonderful ministry is a great way to use gifts of needlework to bring comfort to those who are struggling and joy to those celebrating significant events in life. If you'd like to learn more about Shawl Ministry or are interested in participating, call Julie, 762-3624. Recycle Ink Cartridges & Cell Phones Please bring your old ink cartridges and cell phones to the collection box outside the entrance to Founders Hall.  Thank you! An Opportunity for You! The food pantry is always in need of volunteers for Monday, Wednesday, and Friday mornings from 9:00-12:00. If you can be a volunteer, please contact Megan in the food pantry office @309-762-4577.
